which offers nice off axis viewing angles and a resolution of 480 x 854
pixels (FWVGA) generating a pixel density of 218ppi. Thanks to the
Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection that the screen resists scratches and
fingerprints easily.
It is packed in a 9.2mm
thick polycarbonate shell which has a weight of just 134g. The phone has
been spotted with soft controls on the screen rather than the
capacitive keys on the body.
Processor and OS
At
the heart of the Microsoft Lumia 638, you can find a quad-core
processor clocked at 1.2GHz and based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
chipset. Assisting it in executing multitasking is a 1GB RAM. It sails
on the latest Windows Phone 8.1 OS which is easy to use.

Microsoft Lumia 638 arrives with a 5MP camera supporting LED flash and
digital zoom at the back. The lack of front camera is a big

further expandable up to 128GB via microSD slot.
Battery and Connectivity features
The
Microsoft Lumia 638 is packed with an 1,830mAh Li-ion battery for

getting drained unnecessarily.

bands). Other networking and connectivity features come in the form of
Bluetooth v4.0 with BLE, GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi and USB port.

The
Microsoft Lumia 638 is an attractive budget friendly smartphone with
the latest Windows OS and support for 4G LTE Cat4. It features a
powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon processor but the lack of front camera is a
big disappointment. It can be availed in black, yellow, orange and
white colours.
